The Currituck County Rural Center (CCRC) is located on 105 acres in Powells Point. Popular activities and amenities currently available to the public at the CCRC include:
- Equestrian indoor and outdoor riding rings
- 2 outdoor lighted horse arenas (300′ x 150′)
- 1 covered horse arena (200′ x 100′)
- 30 permanent horse stalls
- Dressage arena
- Access to the sound for kayaks and canoes
- Fishing in two ponds
- Disc golf baskets
- Playground equipment
- Picnic pavilions
- Boardwalk
- 21 RV sites
The CCRC is free to the public to enjoy and is dog friendly.
