Maple Skate Park
Innovation meets expert design at the Currituck County County Skatepark in Maple. Designed by Grindline Skateparks, a world leader in skatepark design, the Maple facility is receiving rave reviews from both amateurs and pros alike. Clean lines and deep bowls are the main themes driving this superior arena. Genuine pool coping gives riders the edge they've been dreaming of. Riders can frontside an 11 foot keyhole or just cruise around on glass smooth cement. The best part of the park is it's free! Remember, all riders are required to wear a helmet, elbow and knee pads while using the facility. Any person engaged in a hazardous recreation activity at this park must wear a helmet, kneepads, elbow pads, and other appropriate equipment and clothing at all times. The county does not provide regular supervision of the skate park. All users of the skatepark engaged in any activity, whatsoever, assumes all risk associated with the use of the skatepark. Skate responsibly, according to your ability. Failure to comply with Requirements For Use may subject violator to sanctions as provided for under Chapter 10 of Currituck County Code of Ordinance. Maple Skatepark opens at sunrise and closes at sunset.
