Currituck Bulls and BBQ
November 4, 2023, Currituck County Rural Center: 184 Milburn Sawyer Rd., Powells Point, NC
Our county’s most popular Fall event returns to the Currituck County Rural Center this November. Bulls and BBQ is a celebration of championship barbecue, live music, family fun and a thrilling live rodeo. Get your tickets for the Rodeo or the People’s Choice BBQ Competition online. Tickets sell fast! Free activities for all guests include the cornhole tournament, petting zoo and ax throwing. Local food vendors will be on site providing a variety of delicious dishes and sweet treats.

Crabdaddy Seafood and Wine Festival
October 7, 2023, Sanctuary Vineyards: 7005 Caratoke HighwayJarvisburg, NC
Enjoy an afternoon of all-you-can eat blue crabs paired with local wine and beer, plus delicious barbecue and a succulent fish fry. Sanctuary Vineyard’s annual seafood fest also features live music and the “Crabdaddy Olympics,” a fun series of themed challenges. Guests will receive a souvenir wineglass to take home, too!

Blue 42’s Brewing Barn Fall Festival
October 7, 2023, 2132 Caratoke Highway, Moyock, NC
Currituck’s newest stop for local beers and specialty coffee drinks and smoothies invites you over for a day of free family fun and activities. Browse gifts and goods from area vendors and join friends on a hayride through Powell’s pumpkin patch. Don’t forget your camera to capture all the new Fall memories!

Fall Libations & Temptations
The change of season not only ushers in pumpkin spice treats, it heralds the release of new wines, spirits, and beers designed to pair with Fall flavors. In Corolla and on the Currituck mainland, one can sip a variety of libations and purchase bottles for later enjoyment. Buffalo City Distillery offers a Crisp Apple Whiskey and Honey Roasted Almond Whiskey. Over at Whalehead Brewery, try select seasonal beers with any of their specialty pizzas. Of course, no Fall day in Currituck is complete without a visit to any of our amazing farm markets, where you’ll find the freshest autumn fruits and vegetables and homemade baked goods.
